Female acne as a consequence of hormone disruptions (reg № 356447056)

© Stepanenko, R., Konovalova, T. & Stepanenko, V. Methods. 126 women, who suffer from inflammatory form of acne severity degree. Age of patients – 19-37 years. The following indices were determined to assess the hormonal status of female organism: free testosterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin (PRL), thyreotrophin hormone (TTH), free thyroxin (Т4в), and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS). The visual evaluation of hyperandrogenism was made due to available hirsutism, androgenetic alopecia, and acantosis nigricans. The manifestation of hyperandrogenism syndrome at visual examination of female patients is observed only in half of women with the hormone disruptions, confirmed by the laboratory. It is reasonable to perform the complex laboratory and special research to determine the genesis of hyperandrogenism that assists to development of pathogenically grounded, individual therapy of patients.
