“Svenskor och Staden” (S.O.S) (translates “Swedes and the City”) is a compelling and hip reality TV series that brings opposite worlds together, showing the fast-paced lives of four Swedish girls in their mid-twenties who have left their “safety net” in Sweden for a lavish life filled with opportunities in glamorous Hollywood. The cameras follows the girls embarking on a journey filled with ups and down. Swedish student and fashion blogger, Karin, the leader of the group, catalogues the girl’s many trials and tribulations through her blog, and also touches subjects such as celebrities, health & fitness, Hollywood nightlife and the latest fashion trends. The storyline of S.O.S focuses on the four girls coming together to help each other accomplish goals and dreams, all while dealing with personal dilemmas, such as substance abuse, eating disorders and betrayal.
